Morris E. Lasky is chief executive officer and founder of Lodging Unlimited, Inc. with offices in Pennsylvania, Chicago and Phoenix. Morris has worked in the hospitality industry for nearly 50 years forming Lodging Unlimited in 1970 to provide quality management, consulting and marketing services to the hospitality industry. Morris is also founder of Lodging Opportunities Group (L.O.G.), a firm established to acquire, finance and renovate hotels with over 200 rooms. From 1962 to 1970, Morris served as senior vice president of American Motor Inns, a Helmsley-Spears, Inc. subsidiary formed to acquire troubled hospitality properties. As Co-Chair of the International Hotel Conference in Italy and Marketing Director of The Lodging Conference in Arizona, Mary Lou is responsible for marketing, advertising, brochures and set design at these two highly successful, annual hotel conferences. She is also involved in agenda planning, hotel coordination, sponsor, exhibitor and staff management and internet design for the International Hotel Conference. As Executive Vice President of Lodging Unlimited, Inc. Mary Lou is involved in strategic planning, consulting, marketing, operations and communications for the company. Prior to joining LUI, Mary Lou was Director for Bank of Montreal, financing commercial real estate properties and overseeing a portfolio of $750 million in assets. Mary Lou has also worked for Republic Savings Bank as a Commercial Real Estate Lender, Metro Financial Group as a Mortgage Banker, AHW Real Estate Development Co. as a Sales and Marketing Rep, and Pat Thompson & Associates as Vice President and Office Manager. Mary Lou has an MBA in Real Estate Finance from DePaul University and undergraduate business studies at DePaul University and University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. She has also studied interior design at Harrington Institute and graphic arts at Columbia College in Chicago.
